Fort Frances Agency - First Nation Child Well Being Planning

The Chiefs of Ontario are hosting an in-person meeting in the Fort Frances region to provide First Nations and First Nations Child and Family Services Agencies an opportunity to begin collaborating on important planning and reporting requirements as outlined under the Final Agreement on Long-Term Reform of the FNCFS Program in Ontario (Ontario Final Agreement). This meeting is geared towards First Nations Child and Family Services Agencies and First Nation technicians, councilors, and other relevant personnel.

Who Should Attend: First Nations Child Welfare Technicians, FNCFS Agency Staff, Ontario First Nations Leadership

PLEASE NOTE:

• Chiefs of Ontario will only be covering hotel accommodations, breakfast and lunch for these two days. Delegates will be responsible for arranging and covering their own travel.

• We will be placing all registrants who have signed up using the link on the hotel list to check in on March 18, 2026, and check out on March 20, 2026.

• The Chiefs of Ontario can only provide accommodations for 2 - 3 people per First Nation and agency.
