The Chiefs of Ontario will host the Fall Chiefs Assembly (FCA) on November 24-25, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario. The assembly will include critical updates on a variety of issues and priorities for First Nations in Ontario.

Toronto is the ancestral territory of many nations, including the Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosaunee, and Wendat peoples. Toronto is also part of Treaty 13, signed by representatives of the Crown and Mississaugas of the Credit, as well as the Williams Treaties, signed with various Mississauga nations.

Who Should Attend: First Nations Leadership, Technicians, Government Representatives & Agencies

• If your community sends a proxy (from the First Nation Governance), please provide the secretariat with your “Letter of Proxy” (template below) in advance.
