UNDA Dialogue Session: UNDA and Free, Prior and Informed Consent

The Chiefs of Ontario Justice Sector will host a virtual dialogue session on the United Nations Declaration Act (UNDA). This session will look at the recent federal court decision of Kebaowek v. Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, with a focus on how this decision effects both UNDA implementation and the Free, Prior and Informed Consent framework.

This session will provide a legal presentation by Nick Leeson, Senior Associate at Woodward and Company, question and discussion time and take home materials.
